Excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team in a pivotal role as the business creates a new platform for growth. Over the past 3 years the business has built a high performing engineering team containing a broad base of experience and expertise from a variety of technology driven sectors to develop leading electronic products

The Role:

The Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership to the systems design team ensuring a robust framework is in place along-side technical leadership to ensure implementation of robust solutions for existing and new products. Duties will include:

  • Define requirements and architecture for new and existing products
  • Define component selection strategy
  • Lead complex systems design
  • Develop and manage documentation processes
  • Manage project planning for systems elements
  • Support validation, verification, certification, NPD and NPI processes

The Candidate:

  • Previous systems design experience
  • Experience delivering high integrity new product solutions within a highly regulated or safety critical environment such as medical device, defence, aerospace, rail etc
  • Ideally holds a relevant engineering or science-based degree
  • Detailed understanding of requirements management, product introduction and planning techniques, product testing and verification, full engineering development lifecycle principals
  • Excellent communication skills including written, oral, numeracy and technology

Salary: £45K – £60K (DOE). Dependent on relevant experience
