The Company:  A highly successful and global manufacturer is currently recruiting a Quality Engineer to join their team.

The Role:  Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will provide Quality Engineering support for both the Operations and Quality departments by ensuring that products and processes are maintained in line with business and customer requirements. Tasks include:

  • Manage, prepare and submit all relevant customer documentation
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the PFMEA processes including PPAP
  • Provide Quality Engineering expertise to CI teams and manufacturing support
  • Report directly to the Quality Manager the effectiveness of the Quality systems
  • Provide input to regulatory and customer audits when required.
  • Conduct internal procedure and process audits
  • Improve and develop all aspects of the Quality function

The Candidate: Quality Engineer

  • Ideally holds an HNC/ HND/ Degree in a Quality, Engineering or related subject
  • Previous Quality Engineering experience within an a highly regulated environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including 8D, 5 why, cause and effect etc.

Salary: To £35,000
