Opportunity to work with an innovative market leading electronic product development and manufacturing business as they bring newly accredited products into low volume manufacture.
What you will be doing:
- Identify, implement and manage change and improvement initiatives across operations and manufacturing areas of the business
- Manage cross functional projects for improvement of existing products and introduction of new projects.
- Document and validate processes in line with QMS and accreditation requirements
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop internal culture and processes for improvement and change
- Drive the implementation of robust internal systems and processes
The experience you will bring:
- Relevant engineering qualification, HND or higher
- Proven success identifying, implementing and managing process improvements in an electronic / electro-mechanical manufacturing and development environment
- Detailed knowledge and hands on experience of using CI and Lean principles to improve manufacturing processes
- In-depth problem solving and analysis skills
- Excellent leadership, management and diplomacy skills, used to presenting concepts to senior stakeholders and then managing cross-functional teams to implement.
- Extensive experience of quality management systems preferably from a regulated industry such as aerospace or medical device
- Full understanding and experience of the full project life-cycle and concepts such as DfM, DfT and DfP
