The Company: Opportunity to join a leading manufacturing organisation producing a variety of innovative solutions used across a variety of high technology industry sectors including medical devices, aerospace, defence and industrial electronics.

The Role: The Inventory Analyst will analyse and reduce the raw material inventory. They will work closely with supply chain partners, customers and internal departments to eliminate excess stock and minimise inventory holding whilst allowing the flexibility required to meet customer / planning needs. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse and report the raw inventory holding and pipeline
  • Develop the inventory reporting routines
  • Cross functional communication to ensure clear Inventory management
  • Monitor both quoted and potential excess levels to ensure they have been captured correctly and are regularly reported / recovered in line with SLA’s
  • Generate a reporting system to highlight any future issues
  • Monitor and review the ‘Key Field Report’ parameters for all components
  • Create a disposition policy for redundant materials
  • ECN & PCN management (obsolescence) – zero liability

The Candidate: Inventory Analyst

  • Sound knowledge of components across the commodities in electronics manufacturing
  • Experience operating within a supply chain role in the field of electronics
  • Proven knowledge of MRP based systems and logistics solutions
  • Strong report writing skills and advanced Excel capability for analysing data
  • Work to high levels of accuracy in a frequently audited environment

Salary: To £35,000 + package (DOE)
