          Opportunity to join an innovative market leading organisation with a successful product portfolio which has led to expansion of its technical and innovation team to develop new products for market.

          Working within a multi-disciplined technical team the Analog Electronic Design Engineer will provide technical input to the engineering team ensuring use of robust design procedures and industry standards.

          Main responsibilities will include:

          • Develop requirements and systems architecture solutions to customer needs and organisational requirements for new product designs
          • Support Lead Engineer with solution designs and documentation
          • Ensure high standards of documentation across projects and contribute to qualification and certification activities
          • Develop complex electronic designs and software solutions in line with defined architecture
          • Contribute to component selection
          • Support and direct Test Engineering team
          • Lead and mentor junior team members
          • Play an integral role developing and improving the technical team capabilities

          It is expected successful Electronic Engineer candidates will display the following attributes:

          • Electronics design expertise in particular analogue systems design and power electronics
          • Detailed understanding of AC-DC and DC/DC power conversion for higher voltage systems, passive filter design and components such as chokes, transformers, inductors.
          • Experience using design tools such as LTSpice, Altium and SiMetrix
          • Ability to produce documentation to support design solutions
          • Good bench skills including soldering for SMT and through hole
          • Detailed understanding of full design lifecycle
          • Degree level education in relevant engineering discipline
          • Experience using DfM and DfT techniques and tools

          Salary: £40K – £47K + bonus and extensive benefits
