This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a major international engineering firm involved in the commissioning of novel technologies used in Energy from Waste and Biomass plants.   

Position details:

  • Must have a background in mechanical engineering and experience of commissioning activities on site for large energy construction projects.
  • Must hold relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience of commissioning large equipment such as steam boilers and turbines essential.
  • Maintain accurate records of all commissioning progress and present to both client and internal management.
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing any Field Change Notice/Problem Reports (FCN).
  • Ensuring the safe operating environment for all commissioning activities in close co-operation with the client.
  • Previous experience of commissioning EfW or Biomass plants essential.
  • Initial duration c.4 months but the role will then transfer to other sites in the UK so potentially c.12 months work in total.
