‘Cracking’ Easter Egg collection for Children’s Hospitals
7th April 2015
Early in 2015 Linea Resourcing set a challenge of collecting 100 Easter eggs from local businesses for the University Hospital Wales Children’s ward in Cardiff.
In just one week we smashed our goal and with the help of other local businesses we had over 700 eggs to donate. Hospitals across South Wales benefited, with eggs being distributed to UHW Cardiff, Neville Hall, Royal Gwent and Morriston hospitals.
MD Mike Gorshkov pledged to match every egg donated. “I’m extremely proud of the generosity shown by the South Wales business community and their staff, it really has turned into an eggstravaganza J, allowing us to donate far more than we could ever have imagined.”
The final tally of 726 eggs was made possible with the support of local businesses including Bon Bon Buddies, Halma Water Management, TBDUK, Just Love Food Company, Wall Colmonoy, Microsemi, Unitech Services, BBI, tenants at Eastern Business Park, Cory Brothers and Schneider Electric.
Following the success of the year’s initiative, Mike has pledged to make this an annual event.
