Job Description:
The Company: Part of a World Wide manufacturing organisation based in the South West looking to expand their team of specialist Engineers
The Role: To deliver safe and proactive electrical services across a large scale manufacturing site.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of machinery and equipment according to schedule and maintaining manufacturing operations
- Implement planned preventative maintenance tasks while utilising PLCs accordingly
- Monitor all electrical sub contract labour
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Day to day problem solving tasks
- Install components according to design specifications
- Lead health and safety improvement activities
- Manage electrical maintenance shutdown periods and lead improvements process
- Complying with company procedures at all times
- Adhering to the rules and regulations of the company
The Candidate:
- Apprenticeship in relevant Electrical engineering discipline
- Experience of PLCs Allen Bradley preferred
- Experience of working in heavy manufacturing environments
- Working at height qualifications
- Experience of working to KPIs
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
