Job Description:

Company: A well known FMCG company are looking to recruit a EHS manager to join their existing team.

• As Health, Safety & Environment Manager you will ensure systems are established which seek to promote and improve Safety, Health and Environment on site This encompasses systems for auditing and reviewing SH&E performance are in place and are being adhered to. Contribute to the ongoing development of internal processes
  
• Conduct accident investigations and report accordingly
  
• Liaising with machine/spares suppliers to ensure effective continual production
  
• Chair site safety committee meetings and manage the First Aid and Fire Warden activities across the site to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  
• Evaluate new process/machines and liaise with the engineering and production departments to design safe working methods. This will also conduct work place and work station audits.
  
• Responsible for the submission and management of capital expenditure requirements on these projects.
  
• Deliver safety training as appropriate.

• Possess a minimum NEBOSH H&S Certificate, ideally a NEBOSH diploma

• Experience of delivering effective manual handling training.
• 
  
• Candidates must be experienced iof working in a fast paced manufacturing environments
